CALIFORNIAN

Californian massage incorporates many of the recipient's senses, and has numerous physical and mental health benefits. It is similar to Swedish massage, with the long, graceful movements and vigorous muscle manipulations.

Benefits

Because of the full-body, fluid motions used, Californian massages are very relaxing.  After treatment you will feel extremely mellow and your stress level will be greatly reduced. This can help lower blood pressure and fight off other stress-induced illnesses. The massage also increases blood flow and circulation.

SWEDISH

Swedish massage refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.

Swedish massage techniques include: long strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, percussion, vibration, effleurage, and shaking motions.

Benefits

Swedish massage feels good, is relaxing and invigorating. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well being. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested in a regular program for stress management.

DEEP TISSUE

Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibres of the muscles, tendons and fascia.

Benefits

It feels good and it is beneficial to your health. When muscles are stressed, they block oxygen and nutrients, leading to inflammation that builds up toxins in the muscle tissue. A deep-tissue massage helps loosen muscle tissues, release toxins from muscles and get blood and oxygen circulating properly.

AROMATHERAPY

Aromatherapy is the use of volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being.

The art of aromatherapy harnesses the potent pure essences of aromatic plants, flowers and resins, to work on the most powerful of senses – smell and touch – to restore the harmony of body and mind.
